Description

A 19th-century Quebec heritage variety, famous for its massive fruits that can weigh up to 6 to 9 kg, its juicy, pale orange flesh, and its exquisite, sweet, and fragrant taste. Its ribbed, slightly rough skin makes it visually distinctive. Once cultivated in Montreal greenhouses and exported as far away as New York, it was rediscovered and reintroduced by agricultural heritage enthusiasts.
