This variety combines an attractive appearance, a crunchy texture and a slightly buttery flavor. The green leaves adorned with a deep burgundy hue create slightly wrapped heads about 30 cm high. Perfect for adding color to salads or mesclun mixes.

Cultivation method:
Direct sow as soon as the soil can be worked in spring, then every two weeks for a constant supply. Sow seeds 3mm deep in rows 45cm apart. Gradually thin to 15cm between plants. Maintain consistent moisture for optimum growth. Harvest by cutting the head at the base just below the lower leaves. Germination in 7-10 days.
