Russell Yellow Lupins – Elegance and Robustness in the Garden
Seeds of Russell's yellow lupins (Lupinus polyphyllus x hybrid), offered by the OSC seed company.
These beautiful perennials brighten up the garden with their majestic spikes of yellow flowers. Ideal for borders and beds, they thrive in moist, well-drained soils in full sun to light shade. Mature plants reach 2 to 3 feet tall, adding a striking vertical structure. Hardy to zone 5, these lupins bring color and elegance in early summer.

How to Grow:
Soak seeds for 24 hours before sowing. Sow indoors in a soilless mix 6-8 weeks before the last frost date, maintaining a cool temperature of 60°F (16°C) for germination in about 20 days. Start seedlings under light at the same temperature before hardening off and transplanting to a sunny or lightly shaded location. Direct seeding can also be done in the fall for flowering the following year.
