The 'Serrano' hot pepper is a must-have for lovers of spicy flavors. With a stronger heat than the Jalapeno, it is perfect for salsas, marinades or to enjoy raw. These 3-inch long and 1/2-inch wide peppers turn from green to red, yellow or brown when ripe, offering an explosion of color and flavor in your garden or kitchen.

Cultivation method:
Start seeds indoors between mid-February and late March in a soilless mix, at a depth of 6mm. Maintain a temperature of 21°C for optimum germination (10-20 days). Transplant strong seedlings after hardening off in late May to early June into well-drained soil rich in organic matter and in full sun. Space plants 30cm apart in rows 60cm apart. Water regularly and use a support if necessary. Harvest at different maturities to enjoy the varied flavours and vibrant colours.
