Organic Ruby/Rhubarb Red Chard Seeds (Beta vulgaris). This organic variety is part of Gaia's seed selection for Canadian gardens. Deep red stems and light green leaves. Uniform colour and size compared to other chards. It can be used for microgreens. Life cycle: annual. Expected height: 45.7 to 61 cm (18 to 24 in). Soaking in warm water for up to 12 hours is recommended for improved germination. Direct seed mid-spring through mid-summer. Can be started indoors 4 to 6 weeks before the last frost.
