Description

Syringa prestoniae 'Donald Wyman' is a vigorous, late-blooming Canadian lilac, producing long panicles of sweetly scented purplish-pink flowers. Its upright, well-branched habit is suitable for flowering hedges or isolated plantings. Adapted to cold climates, it blooms after spring frosts, extending the lilac season. Very hardy, not very susceptible to disease, and easy to grow, it is ideal for northern gardens or succession-blooming arrangements.
