Very versatile, it can be used fresh, dried or frozen , and its richness in vitamins and minerals makes it an excellent ally for a healthy diet.

Spread : 25 to 30 cm
Plant height : 30 to 45 cm

Cultivation method

Curly parsley grows well in full sun or partial shade in rich, light, well-drained soil. Since germination is slow (about 14 to 21 days ), it is recommended to soak the seeds in water for 24 hours before sowing to speed up the process. Sow directly in the ground in spring, or start indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost . Plant 1/4 inch deep , in rows 10 inches apart, then thin to 6 inches once they have emerged. Regular watering is essential to prevent the soil from drying out. The more you harvest, the more it will continue to produce throughout the season.

Use and benefits

Curly parsley is ideal for garnishing and enhancing dishes , whether in salads, soups, sauces or culinary decorations . It is particularly appreciated in tabbouleh, omelettes and homemade seasonings . Rich in vitamin C, K and iron , it is also known for its digestive and antioxidant properties .

Easy to grow and store, it can be eaten fresh, dried or frozen , allowing you to enjoy it all year round. With its dense and decorative foliage, it beautifies both the vegetable garden and pots and planters.
