Latin name: Thuja koraiensis 'Glauca'
Common Name: Korean Thuja 'Glauca'
Plant type: Coniferous
Shape: Conical
Botanical family: Cupressaceae
Thuja koraiensis 'Glauca' is an elegant and original variety of Korean thuja, distinguished by its bluish-green foliage with a very bright silvery underside, which creates a superb contrast in movement. Its shape is naturally conical, slightly open, with a supple and airy appearance reminiscent of Asian conifers. Very hardy, it prefers fresh and well-drained soils, and can be used as an isolated plant, in a decorative hedge or in a Japanese-inspired garden. 'Glauca' combines finesse, lightness and color in a conifer that is still uncommon, but of great ornamental interest.
