Organic Sweetie Red Cherry Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) is a vigorous, highly productive indeterminate annual variety known for its long clusters of small, glossy red fruits with an exceptionally sweet flavor. In the vegetable garden, it offers beautiful ornamental value thanks to its vertical growth and abundant harvests, which ripen continuously throughout summer. Its juicy cherry tomatoes are perfect for snacking straight from the garden, salads, appetizers, garnishes, lunch boxes, and fresh eating. Easy to love for both children and adults, it usually produces about 65 days after transplanting.

Organic Sweetie Red Cherry Tomato should be sown indoors from March to April, about 0.5 cm (1/4 in) deep, at a steady temperature of 21 to 27°C (70 to 81°F). Germination usually takes 7 to 14 days when conditions are warm and bright. After the last frosts, hardened-off plants can be transplanted into full sun, in fertile, organic-rich, slightly acidic to neutral, well-drained soil. It grows very well in large containers, raised beds, and vegetable garden rows. A sturdy stake, regular watering, organic mulch, and balanced fertilization support vigorous growth and continuous fruiting.

In the edible garden, Organic Sweetie Red Cherry Tomato fits perfectly into family vegetable gardens, small gardens, and edible landscapes where vertical, productive crops help maximize space. Its long red clusters add color, abundance, and sweetness throughout the warm season, with frequent harvests encouraging continued production. Basil, chives, and parsley are good companion plants, while rotation with other nightshades helps reduce certain crop health issues. Its yellow flowers attract bees and other pollinating insects, supporting good fruit set and beneficial biodiversity in the vegetable garden.
