Floral Harmony 'Choose Joy' (Tulipa) is a blend of double tulips with generous blooms in a cheerful palette of raspberry pink, golden yellow, pastel peach and soft orange. Their full corollas provide rich texture and a natural bouquet effect in the garden. This spring selection produces elegant flowers on sturdy stems, creating colourful interest in beds. Its mid-spring flowering brightens borders, containers and garden spaces with a warm and dynamic atmosphere.
It prefers full sun to partial shade and light, fertile, well-drained soil. Bulbs are planted in fall, generally 12 to 15 cm (5 to 6 in) deep and spaced 10 to 12 cm (4 to 5 in) apart, before the ground freezes. Harmonie Florale 'Choose Joy' brings together twelve Van Noort tulip bulbs in a multi-colored palette inspired by spring hues. The cup-shaped flowers stand tall in mid-spring on sturdy stems reaching about 45 cm (18 in). Presented in size 12/+, the bulbs form a cohesive group in beds, borders, and large containers. Plant Choose Joy in the fall, when the soil has cooled but is still workable. Choose full sun or very light shade and fertile, loose, and especially perfectly drained soil. Place the bulbs point up, about two or three times their height, typically 12 to 18 cm (5 to 7 in) deep, and space them 8 to 12 cm (3 to 5 in) apart. Water after planting to settle the soil, then let seasonal rainfall maintain moderate moisture. Avoid waterlogged soil and high-nitrogen fertilizers, which weaken flowering. This ripening recharges the bulbs and improves their chances of returning, even if many horticultural tulips offer their best display in the first year. Group the twelve bulbs near an entrance, along a pathway, or in a dark container that will highlight the red and white. All parts, especially the bulbs, are toxic if ingested.
