‘Double Blue’ freesias bear fragrant, double lavender-blue flowers above narrow, upright foliage. Growing approximately 30 cm tall, they suit pots, small borders and cut-flower arrangements. Each package contains ten corms for planting.

Plant in spring after the risk of frost has passed, in a bright, sheltered position with sun or light shade. Choose very well-drained soil or potting mix. In the ground, set the corms approximately 5 cm deep with the pointed ends facing upwards, leaving about 10 cm between them. A small support can help hold the flower stems upright.

Water regularly during active growth without leaving standing water, and remove spent flowers. Keep the leaves until they yellow naturally, then reduce watering during dormancy. In Canadian regions with freezing winters, grow these freesias as seasonal flowers or protect the corms and pots from frost.
