From bulb to bloom

GenusRanunculus
CultivarAmandine Marshmallow
Bulb typeGriffe
Quantity per pack5
Bulb size5/6

‘Amandine Marshmallow’ ranunculus has double flowers with pink outer petals surrounding a paler cream-to-blush centre. Its delicate tones suit cut-flower arrangements and small garden groupings. Following spring planting, it flowers during the growing season; each packet contains five claws for planting.

In spring, plant outdoors after the local risk of frost has passed, or start the claws in frost-free pots a few weeks earlier. Choose a sunny location and well-drained soil. First soak the claws in room-temperature water for 3–4 hours. Plant with the claws pointing downwards, approximately 5 cm deep and 10 cm apart.

Maintain even moisture during growth without waterlogging the soil. Remove spent flowers and allow the leaves to yellow naturally at the end of the growth cycle. Grow it as a seasonal plant in cold regions; keep it away from children and pets because it is harmful if eaten and can irritate skin.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Oui.
