‘Graceland’ is a waterlily dahlia with double orange flowers whose broad petals recall the shape of a waterlily. Growing approximately 1.20 m tall, it adds height to garden borders and provides summer blooms that can continue until frost. Each package contains one clump of dahlia tubers for planting.

Plant in spring after the local risk of frost has passed and the soil has warmed. Choose full sun and fertile, well-drained soil, adding compost if needed. Set the tuber clump approximately 10 cm deep with the growing eyes facing upwards, and allow about 50 cm between plants. Install a stake at planting time to support this tall variety as it grows.

Combine its warm-coloured blooms with dark foliage or cream and purple flowers, or enjoy them in summer bouquets. Water at soil level to keep the soil evenly moist without waterlogging, and remove spent flowers regularly to encourage more blooms. In Canadian regions with freezing winters, lift the tubers after the first light frost blackens the foliage but before the ground freezes, then store them in a cool, frost-free place.
