‘Peony Passion’ pairs generous peony blooms in pink and red tones for a romantic garden display or bouquets. The fragrant double flowers open in late spring or early summer, depending on the region. Each package contains two bare-root peonies for planting.

Plant the roots in spring in a sunny position with fertile, deep, well-drained soil. Position the buds, or eyes, upwards, approximately 2.5–5 cm below the surface: planting too deeply reduces flowering. Give the two plants enough room for their clumps to develop without crowding each other, then water after planting.

Combine them with irises or perennial geraniums to extend the border’s interest. Support installed early can help keep flowers upright after rain; water during dry spells and remove spent blooms. Let the foliage grow until it dies naturally in autumn and allow young peonies a few seasons to become well established.
