Cultivation method:
Sow directly outdoors in spring or autumn. For indoor starts, sow 3mm deep in a soilless mix, 10 weeks before planting out outdoors. Maintain a temperature of 20°C for 7-14 days for germination, in the dark. Then grow on at a slightly cooler temperature before hardening off and transplanting to the garden after the last frost. Space plants 15cm apart.
To revitalize plants in summer, prune them mid-season. This encourages new blooms when temperatures cool in late summer or early fall.
