Height: 20 to 25 cm
Spacing: 10 cm
Sowing: Direct sowing
Exposure: Full sun or partial sun / Partial shade
Quantity per packet: 200 seeds, untreated, non-GMO
Cultivation method:
Sow directly outdoors in loose, well-drained, sunny soil once all risk of frost has passed. Beets prefer a pH between 6.0 and 7.0; if your soil is acidic, adjust it as needed. Sow in rows 30 cm apart, about 1.2 cm deep, and keep the soil evenly moist until germination (14 to 21 days). Thin to 7-8 cm apart when the seedlings are 2-5 cm tall. Harvest the roots when they are well-colored and uniform; early harvesting encourages the development of the remaining roots.
