Cultivation method:

Sow the seeds directly into well-drained soil from mid-spring onward, once the soil is workable. Plant the seeds 1 to 2 cm (1/2 to 3/4 inch) deep and space them 2.5 cm (1 inch) apart in rows 45 cm (18 inches) apart. For a continuous harvest, repeat sowing every two weeks until early summer.

Gradually thin the seedlings to 10 cm (4 inches) apart, harvesting the smallest leaves for use as baby greens. Harvest the outer leaves by cutting them at the base of the stem, leaving the central leaves to ensure continuous regrowth.

Rainbow chard prefers soil with a pH of 6.5 to 7.5 and consistent moisture. Water regularly for optimal growth, especially during dry periods, and enrich the soil with compost if necessary.

A delicious and colorful variety!

The rainbow mix of Swiss chard is a fantastic option for gardeners looking for a plant that is both productive and decorative. With its multicolored stems and flavorful leaves, it's perfect for salads, stir-fries, and baked dishes. Easy to grow and attractive, this Swiss chard adds vibrancy to your vegetable garden while enriching your meals.
