Barèse Galatina Sel. Larosa Précoce chicory is an heirloom variety that produces beautiful, upright, dark green leaves that are full of flavor. Cultivation method:
Sow seeds directly into the ground as soon as the soil can be worked in spring. Plant seeds about 3mm deep, spacing 45cm between rows. Maintain even moisture throughout the growing season for tender, tasty leaves. Harvest leaves by cutting them at least 2.5cm above the base to encourage new growth, but avoid cutting the crown. This will extend the harvest period and maximise yield.
