Cultivation method:

Sow seeds indoors about 5 weeks before the last frost date in a soilless mix, maintaining a germination temperature around 20°C (70°F). Once seedlings are well established, harden them off before transplanting outdoors in late April or early May, when the soil has warmed.

Plant in fertile, well-drained soil, spacing plants 14 to 18 inches (35 to 45 cm) apart and maintaining a distance of 24 to 30 inches (60 to 75 cm) between rows. Water regularly to avoid water stress, which can affect bud formation. Fertilize lightly and frequently to ensure optimal growth.

When the heads begin to form, use the large outer leaves to cover them and protect them from the sun's rays, thus preventing any discoloration. Harvest the heads when they reach a size of 17 to 20 cm (7 to 8 inches) in diameter, cutting carefully with a sharp knife.

A classic and reliable variety!

'Early Snowball' cauliflower is a must-have for gardening and cooking enthusiasts. Its delicate texture and mild flavour make it a perfect choice for eating raw, roasting or incorporating into stews. A classic variety that guarantees a tasty and attractive harvest every season.
