Cyclamen 'Giant Ciclamino' offers a stunning mix of vibrant colors on compact, fast-flowering plants. Its large, elegant blooms appear continuously and last until the first frosts. Cultivation method:
Sow directly outdoors after all risk of frost has passed; the plants will flower 6 to 8 weeks after sowing. For transplanting, sow indoors in early April, pressing the seeds onto the surface of the potting mix without covering them. Germination takes 5 to 10 days at 20°C (68°F). Grow under lights, harden off, then transplant outdoors in late May, spacing the plants 15 to 20 cm (6 to 8 inches) apart. Cyclamen prefer well-drained soil and full sun in regions with cool summers, or partial shade in very hot areas. Light pruning after the first flowering encourages a new flush of blooms.
