Cultivation method:

Sow seeds between June and mid-July in successive crops every two weeks for staggered harvests, as long as temperatures remain cool. Plant seeds 3 mm (1/8") deep and space them 2.5 cm (1") apart in rows 40 cm (16") apart. Once the plants have emerged, thin them to 30 cm (12") to allow for proper development.

For a fall harvest, you can sow between mid and late August. Maintain regular and uniform watering to avoid water stress, which can lead to premature bolting and increased bitterness of the leaves. This variety thrives in well-drained soil and full sun exposure.

An elegant and tasty chicory!

Early radicchio 'Treviso Select' is an ideal choice for gardeners looking to grow an authentic, early Italian variety. With its crisp texture, vibrant color and unique flavor, it will add a touch of sophistication to your salads and side dishes.
