Cultivation method:
Sow indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost, pressing the seeds lightly into a moist substrate. The seeds need light to germinate, so do not cover them. Maintain a temperature of 70 to 75°F (21 to 24°C) until germination, which occurs in 7 to 10 days. Transplant the seedlings into the ground or containers after the last frost, spacing them 8 inches (20 cm) apart. Prefer a location in full sun with rich, well-drained soil.
