Cultivation method:

Sow the seeds indoors about 8 to 10 weeks before the last frost, maintaining a temperature of 20 to 24°C (68 to 75°F) for germination in 10 to 20 days. Transplant the seedlings into the garden or pots after all risk of frost has passed. Plant in well-drained soil in full sun. Space the plants 30 to 46 cm (12 to 18 inches) apart to allow them to develop fully. Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering. This coneflower is heat-tolerant and requires little maintenance.
