Cultivation method:
Sow seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last expected frost date. Use a light, well-drained potting soil and maintain a constant temperature of 20-23°C to encourage rapid germination. When seedlings are tall enough, prick them out into individual pots or transplant directly into the ground after the last frost, spacing the plants 35cm apart.
Choose a location in full sun and enrich the soil with compost or organic matter to encourage prolific flowering. Water regularly to maintain even moisture, but avoid overwatering. Remove spent flowers as they appear to encourage continued production of new blooms throughout the season.
