French Marigold Durango® Bolero is an exceptional anemone-type variety characterized by its golden yellow flowers with red spots. Both bee-attractive and aromatic, its flowers and foliage bring charm and utility to your garden. Heat-tolerant and frost-tolerant, this plant requires little maintenance, making it a perfect choice for both amateur and expert gardeners. Removing spent flowers will prolong and intensify blooms throughout the season.

Latin name : Tagetes patula
Plant height : 25-30 cm
Spread : 15-20 cm
Quantity per pack : Approximately 90 seeds
Maturity : 6 to 8 weeks
Germination : 5 to 8 days
Sowing temperature : 22°C
Color : Two-tone Yellow & Red
Formulation : Raw
Use : Edible flower, containers, hanging, flower beds

Cultivation method:

Sow seeds indoors about 4-6 weeks before the last frost, maintaining a temperature of 72°F (22°C) for rapid germination. Transplant seedlings into well-drained, organically rich soil after the last frost. You can also sow directly into the ground once the risk of frost has passed.

Space plants 6 to 8 inches apart to promote good air circulation and optimal development. Plant in a sunny or lightly shaded area and water regularly to keep the soil slightly moist. However, this variety tolerates drought very well once well established.

Maintenance and advice:

To encourage continued flowering, remove faded flowers regularly. The French Marigold Durango® Bolero is also an edible plant: its flowers can be used to decorate salads or desserts, adding a colorful and refined touch to your dishes.

A robust and elegant flower!

With its heat resistance, frost tolerance and vibrant colors, the Durango® Bolero French Marigold is a perfect addition to any garden or container. Its low maintenance, long-lasting beauty and ability to attract pollinators make it a versatile and popular plant among gardeners.
