Latin name : Salvia splendens
Maturity : 8 to 10 weeks
Plant height : 25-30 cm
Spread : 20-25 cm
Color : Red
Formulation : Raw seed
Use : Flowerbeds
Flowering : June to September

Growing Tips:

Sow indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frost. Use a light potting soil and maintain a constant temperature of 24°C to encourage germination in 8-12 days. Plant the seeds shallowly and keep the soil slightly moist. When the seedlings have developed 2-3 leaves, transplant them into individual pots before transferring them to the garden once all risk of frost has passed.

Plant in a location with full sun or partial shade in well-drained soil. Water regularly to keep the soil slightly moist, especially during hot weather. Remove spent flowers to prolong flowering and encourage new flower spikes.

Compact, colorful, and easy to care for, Salvia Vista™ Red is a sure bet to add a vibrant touch to your flowerbeds all summer long. Its dense foliage and bright red flowers attract pollinators and create a vibrant decor that will beautify your outdoor spaces. Ideal for gardens of all sizes!
