Cultivation method:

Sow seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost in rich, well-drained potting soil. Maintain a temperature of 72-80°F (22-26°C) for optimum germination in 7-14 days. Transplant seedlings when they are 2-3 inches (5-7 cm) tall into individual pots.

Transplant into the ground or a pot after the last frost, in full sun, in fertile, well-amended soil. Plant 50 to 60 cm apart and provide a stake or cage to support the fruit-laden branches. Water regularly, but avoid wetting the foliage to prevent disease.
