Cultivation method:
Sow directly into the open ground when the soil is well warmed, at a minimum temperature of 16°C, or start indoors about 4 weeks before the last frost. Plant 2.5cm deep and space plants 1.5-2m apart to allow them to spread well.
Prepare rich, well-drained soil and incorporate compost or well-rotted manure before planting. Ensure regular irrigation, favoring deep watering to promote healthy growth and abundant production.
Harvest the fruits when their dark green color becomes uniform and their skin is hard. Store them in a cool, dry place for prolonged use.
