Cultivation method:

Start seedlings indoors between mid-February and late March in a soilless growing mix. Sow 1/4" (6 mm) deep and maintain a temperature of 70°F (21°C) for optimum germination. Grow seedlings in bright light and temperatures of 60-70°F (16-21°C) for strong seedlings.

After hardening off, transplant outdoors in late May to early June in well-drained soil in full sun. Space plants 12" (30 cm) apart in rows 24" (60 cm) apart. For best results, control weeds and avoid high-nitrogen fertilizers. Staking is recommended to support plants. Harvest fruit at different stages of maturity to experience a variety of flavors and textures.
