Morning glory (dwarf) 'Convolvolo Bella Flower' (Convolvulus tricolor), offered by Weston Seeds

Dwarf morning glory 'Convolvolo Bella Flower' is a popular annual that stands out for its low growth and ground-covering habit. This mix of white, pink and red flowers creates a vibrant, elegant carpet that is ideal for mass plantings. Perfect for sunny or partially shaded gardens, this variety blooms quickly and brightens outdoor spaces.

Height : 5 to 6 inches
Spacing : 6 to 8 inches
Sowing : Indoor or direct sowing
Exposure : Full sun or partially shaded
Quantity per pack : Untreated, non-GMO seeds

Cultivation method:

Sow directly outdoors after the last frost, or start indoors in early April. Press seeds lightly into the soil without covering. Germination takes 5-10 days at 70°F (20°C). Once germinated, grow under lights before hardening off and transplanting outdoors in late May, spacing plants 4" (10cm) apart.

Morning glories prefer well-drained soil and grow best in sunny locations. In areas with hot summers, they appreciate partial shade for 4 to 6 hours per day. A light shearing after the first flush of blooms will encourage a second flush of flowers.

A touch of color at ground level!

The dwarf morning glory 'Convolvolo Bella Flower' is ideal for creating colourful borders or filling open areas. Its ease of cultivation and generous blooms make it a perfect option for all gardeners, beginners or experienced.
