'Cornetto' hot pepper (Capsicum annuum), offered by the seed company Weston Seeds

The Cornetto pepper is a highly prized heirloom variety producing small, 2-inch fruits with a hot yet sweet flavor, ideal both fresh and dried. The fruits stand upright on the plant, providing an attractive display and continuous production. Compact and versatile, this pepper is particularly well-suited for growing in pots or containers.

Height: 45 to 60 cm
Spacing: 30 to 35 cm
Sowing: Indoor sowing
Exposure: Full sun
Scoville scale:
Quantity per packet: 80 to 100 seeds, untreated, non-GMO seeds

Cultivation method:

Sow indoors 8 to 10 weeks before the last frost, lightly covering the seeds in warm, well-draining potting soil. Maintain a temperature of 24 to 28°C to encourage even germination, then provide bright light. Transplant when the seedlings have several true leaves.

Transplant after all risk of frost has passed, spacing the plants 30 to 35 cm apart in fertile, well-warmed soil. Water regularly without saturating the soil and mulch to retain moisture. Harvest the fruit when fully ripe, whether green or red, depending on the desired use.

The Cornetto is an attractive chili pepper, easy to grow and perfect for gardeners with limited space.

The availability of our seeds varies depending on seasonal availability, production schedules and supplier inventory.
