'Royal Burgundy - Stringless' beans thrive in light, well-drained soil with an ideal pH of around 6.5. They do not tolerate cold, wet soils, so it is best to wait until the soil temperature reaches at least 16°C (60°F) before sowing.

Sow directly outdoors at a depth of 2.5 cm (1 inch) and space seeds 8 cm (3 inches) apart in rows 45 to 70 cm (18 to 28 inches) apart. Provide support such as a trellis or stakes to encourage upright growth of the plants.

For a continuous harvest, plant seeds every 10 days until mid-July. Water regularly, especially during flowering and pod formation. Avoid handling plants when foliage is wet to prevent disease.
