If you love sweet and fragrant strawberries, you will love the red alpine strawberries. This compact heritage variety is perfect for small gardens, balconies and even pots on a terrace. Unlike classic strawberries, they do not produce runners, concentrating all their energy on producing small red fruits with an intense, sweet and slightly tart taste , reminiscent of wild strawberries.

Transplantation and maintenance ??
Once the plants have developed sufficiently, transplant them into pots or into the ground after the last frost. Choose well-drained soil, rich in organic matter, with a slightly acidic pH (5.5 to 7.0). Spacing: 15 to 20 cm between plants, 30 cm between rows.

Preparation
Prepare the whipped cream Whip the very cold liquid cream with a pinch of salt until it is very firm Add the honey and mix gently
Dress the sundae In a glass, arrange the scoops of vanilla ice cream
Add the alpine strawberries Sprinkle generously over the ice cream
Add homemade whipped cream and a drizzle of honey
