Red salvia is a compact, ornamental perennial, 20 to 30 cm tall, with entire leaves and large, vibrant flowers ranging from yellow to dark red. Its abundant blooms attract pollinators and brighten flowerbeds and borders throughout the season. Easy to grow, it thrives both in the ground and in containers.

Cultivation method:
Sow indoors or directly in warmed soil, placing the seeds on the surface of the potting mix or lightly covering them. Provide moderate moisture and well-drained soil for even germination. Transplant or thin to 15-20 cm apart when the seedlings are strong enough.
Red salvia thrives in full sun but also tolerates light shade, while producing a long-lasting, colorful bloom. Water regularly, but avoid waterlogging, to maintain healthy growth.
