With their varied flavors and delicious textures, these squashes are ideal for creative vegetable gardens and gourmet fall and winter recipes. Robust and flavorful winter squashes, such as the organic Butternut, known for its firm, sweet flesh with a subtle nutty flavor. Ideal for winter storage thanks to their thick rind, these squashes are perfect for soups, purees or winter roasts.

Spread: 1.5 to 2.5 m
Plant height: 40 to 60 cm
Quantity per pack: 10 seeds
Maturity (days): 75
Fruit dimensions: 25 x 10-15 cm
Color: Light beige
Companion plants: Beetroot, borage, bean, marjoram, mint, corn, oregano, radish
Enemy plants: Cabbage, potato, tomato

Cultivation method:

Sow seeds indoors 3 to 4 weeks before the last frost, or directly into the ground after the last frost. Plant each seed 1 inch deep in mounds 5 to 6 feet apart. Once established, thin out to keep only the 2 or 3 strongest plants per mound.

This squash likes warm, fertile, well-drained soils, with full sun exposure. Maintain soil moisture with regular watering and use mulch to conserve water and limit weeds. Harvest squash when the rind is hard and the fruit is fully ripe, before the first frosts arrive.

Ideal for lovers of winter cooking, the squashes in this mix are perfect for enriching your vegetable garden with tasty and resistant fruits, suitable for prolonged storage.
