For successful germination, cold stratify by chilling seeds in moist substrate for 6-8 weeks before sowing on the surface of the soil. Alternatively, sow directly in the fall for natural germination. Wild Indigo thrives in full sun, in moderately moist to dry soils. This hardy, eco-friendly plant will enrich your garden while promoting biodiversity.
