Organic 'Golden Wax' dwarf bean (Phaseolus vulgaris), offered by the seed company Aimers

This heirloom variety of bush bean produces beautiful, smooth, golden-yellow, slightly curved, stringless pods. The compact plants are robust and highly productive, offering a reliable harvest of tender, mild-flavored beans. Introduced in the late 19th century, this variety is prized for its vigor and good natural disease resistance.

Planting and maintenance:
Sow when the soil is thoroughly warmed, ideally above 16°C (61°F), in light, rich, well-drained soil in full sun. Sow approximately 2.5 cm (1 inch) deep, spacing the seeds 8 cm (3 inches) apart, with rows 45 to 70 cm (18 to 27 inches) apart. Water regularly, especially during flowering and pod formation. For a continuous harvest, sow successively until mid-July and harvest frequently.
