Planting and maintenance:
Start seeds indoors from mid-February to the end of March, about 6 mm deep, in a soilless substrate kept at around 21°C to encourage germination. Grow the seedlings in bright light until they are stocky, then harden them off before transplanting outdoors in late spring. Plant in full sun in rich, well-drained soil, spacing the plants about 30 cm apart. Water regularly, avoid high-nitrogen fertilizers, and stake if necessary. Harvest the fruit at different stages of ripeness to enjoy a variety of flavors.
