Acadie 1-0-2 Granulated Algae
Acadie 1-0-2 Granulated Seaweed is a marine-based organic amendment designed to improve soil fertility and support balanced plant growth. Made from sun-dried seaweed, it retains many of the natural compounds found in fresh seaweed, including trace elements and biologically active substances that promote healthy soil life.
Thanks to their potassium and organic matter content, these granules help improve soil structure, increase water retention capacity, and stimulate microbial activity. Regular use helps plants better withstand water or heat stress while supporting stable growth in vegetable gardens, ornamental gardens, or container gardens.
How to use
- Flower pots : incorporate approximately 50g into the potting soil for a pot approximately 20cm in diameter.
- Gardens and vegetable gardens : incorporate approximately 2 kg into the soil per 10 m² before planting or sowing.
- Apply in early spring as soon as the soil can be worked.
- It can also be incorporated in the fall to enrich the soil and prepare for the following season.
- Mix the granules well into the soil to promote their gradual decomposition.
- Water after application to activate nutrient release.
- Do not ingest.
- Store in a cool place, away from sunlight.
- Use in conjunction with a balanced fertilization program.
Applications
- Home vegetable gardens and market garden crops
- Garden soil amendment
- Ornamental plants in open ground
- Potted plants and planters
- Soil preparation before planting
- Improvement of soils poor in organic matter
- Ecological gardens and organic farming
- Soil requiring a natural supply of potassium
Features and benefits
Correction of soil deficiencies
Seaweed provides various trace elements that contribute to the nutrient balance of the soil and support plant growth.
Soil structure improvement
The significant input of organic matter helps to improve aeration, structure and water retention capacity.
Stimulation of microbial life
Natural compounds derived from algae promote biological activity in the soil and participate in nutrient transformation.
Natural source of potassium
Potassium contributes to the water regulation of plants and promotes their tolerance to periods of stress.
Progressive and lasting action
The gradual decomposition of the granules allows for a progressive release of nutrients into the soil.
Compatible with organic farming
A product of natural origin that can be integrated into fertilization programs that respect organic practices.
