Cultivation method:
Sow seeds indoors between mid-February and late March in a soilless mix, 6mm deep. Maintain a temperature of 21°C to encourage rapid germination, which takes 10-20 days. Transplant outdoors in late May to early June in rich, well-drained soil in full sun. Space plants 30cm apart in rows 60cm apart. Water regularly and use a support if necessary. Harvest peppers at different maturities to experience their range of flavours, from crisp green to sweet red.
