The 10 cm fruits are perfect for making sauces, yellow ketchup or fresh slices for salads. The compact plants, reaching 50 to 70 cm in height, provide a generous harvest. Cultivation method:
Sow seeds indoors about 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Use a peat moss-based mix and maintain a temperature of 21-24°C to encourage rapid germination (10-14 days). Transplant into individual pots at 15-18°C when seedlings are 4cm, then harden off before planting out in the ground in late May, spacing 60cm apart.
Ensure full sun exposure, regular watering at the base, and use mulch to conserve moisture and limit disease.
