Jobe's 8-11-11 Fruit Tree Fertilizer Spikes provide targeted fertilization directly to the root system. This method ensures a gradual release of essential nutrients, promoting balanced development between vegetative growth, flowering, and fruit production. Their formulation, enriched with phosphorus and potassium, particularly supports fruit formation and the overall vigor of the tree.
By inserting them into the soil near the root zone, these spikes limit nutrient loss due to leaching and ensure long-lasting nutrition over several weeks. This approach also reduces handling and allows for precise application, tailored to the needs of fruit trees during active growth periods.
Directions for Use
- Water the soil before application if it is dry.
- Insert spikes around the tree's drip line.
- Maintain uniform spacing according to the trunk diameter.
- Drive completely into the soil and cover lightly.
- Apply in spring and reapply during the season if necessary.
Applications
- Fruit trees in orchards or home gardens
- Apple, pear, plum, cherry trees
- In-ground trees requiring localized fertilization
- Regular maintenance to support fruit production
