Ornamental Corn 'Blue Hopi' (Zea mays) seeds, offered by Semences OSC .
Developed by the Hopi tribe in the southwestern United States, this exceptional corn combines ancestral culture with culinary versatility . Young, it is eaten sweet like tender corn, or dried, it is ground into flour for protein-rich tortillas. The medium-sized ears, about 6.7 inches ( 17 cm ), have a unique blue hue and flourish on plants 3 to 5 feet (1.5 m) tall. Perfect for homemade recipes and fall decorating.
