Buddleia 'Birthday Cake', or 'Birthday Cake' butterfly bush, is a compact and very free-flowering shrub, selected for its naturally dense, rounded shape and abundant summer blooms. It is covered in fragrant, nectar-rich, purple-blue panicles that intensely attract butterflies and pollinating insects throughout the season. Its more contained size than traditional buddleias makes it ideal for small gardens, sunny beds, urban borders, or container planting. Its greyish-green foliage perfectly highlights the colour of the flowers and adds a light texture to the landscape.
