It forms a compact, rounded, and slightly spreading habit, composed of fine, flexible, thread-like branches that give it a soft and decorative texture. Its persistent golden yellow to golden green foliage brightens rock gardens, borders, Japanese gardens, and container plantings throughout the year. With slow to moderate growth, it retains modest dimensions for a long time and integrates perfectly into small gardens.
