Farming method
Soak the seeds in lukewarm water for up to 12 hours to promote even germination. Start seeds indoors 4 to 6 weeks before planting out , or sow directly outdoors when the soil temperature exceeds 23°C (73°F) . Sow at a depth of 1.2 cm (½ inch) , spacing plants 30 to 45 cm (12 to 18 inches) apart and rows 60 to 90 cm (24 to 36 inches) apart, in rich, moist, well-drained soil .
