Farming method
Soak the seeds for a maximum of 12 hours in lukewarm water to improve germination.
Sow directly in the garden as soon as the ground is workable in spring, at a depth of 1.25 cm .
For an autumn harvest, sow in late summer–early autumn .
Install in partial sun / partial shade (level 2), with moderate watering (level 2).
Space the plants 15 cm apart, with 60 to 90 cm between rows.
Germination in 7 to 14 days between 10 and 16 °C (optimum 21 °C).
Harvesting and preservation
Harvest the young leaves by cutting 2.5 cm (1″) above the ground or just above the crown to encourage tight regrowth.
Mature leaves are harvested individually as needed.
Store washed spinach in the refrigerator, at low temperature and high humidity, for up to 10 to 14 days .
