Place in full sun (level 3) with regular watering (level 2), although okra tolerates drought well.
Space the plants 45 to 60 cm apart, with 90 cm between rows. Germination takes 2 to 12 days at temperatures between 18 and 32 °C (optimum 21 °C).
Harvesting and preservation
Harvest every 2–3 days when the pods are young and tender to maximize quality and yield.
Store freshly picked okra for 7 to 10 days in a bag or ventilated container between 7 and 10 °C .
