Farming method
Sow indoors 6 to 8 weeks before planting out . Sow 3–6 mm (1/8–1/4") deep in a light potting mix and maintain a temperature of 23–29°C , ensuring germination in 5 to 10 days . During the hardening-off period, reduce watering and nitrogen application to promote vigorous plant growth.
Transplant once all risk of frost has passed. Space plants 60 to 90 cm (24 to 36") apart, with 120 to 180 cm (4 to 6') between rows. Provide full sun (level 3) , regular watering (level 3) , and install sturdy staking , essential for supporting the abundant grape cluster production.
Harvesting and preservation
Harvest when the fruit shows its ripe green color , accompanied by light yellow or pinkish hues. They remain firm for a long time, which facilitates harvesting and storage. To accelerate ripening, pick those that have already begun to show their first color , then let them ripen off the vine at 22°C or higher . Store between 12 and 21°C , at 95% relative humidity .
