Farming method

Sow indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost. Place the seeds 3 to 6 mm (1/8 to 1/4") deep in a light potting mix and maintain a temperature of 23 to 29°C for optimal germination in 5 to 10 days. Reduce watering and nitrogen application during hardening-off to strengthen the seedlings. Transplant once all risk of frost has passed.

Space the plants 60 to 90 cm (24 to 36") apart in rows 120 to 180 cm (4 to 6'). Full sun (level 3) and regular watering (watering level 3) are essential. As it is indeterminate, provide sturdy stakes or a support system suitable for the size of its fruit.

Harvesting and preservation

Harvest when the yellow color is fully developed to maximize flavor. For early harvests, pick when the tomato shows its first golden hue, then allow it to ripen off the vine at 22°C or higher. Store the fruit between 12 and 21°C with a relative humidity of approximately 95%.
